My $12 veggie peeler finally made me like cooking again

I kept buying bags of pre-cut veggies because chopping was such a drag, and it added like $15 a week to my grocery bill in Seattle. Then I grabbed a Kuhn Rikon peeler on a whim and it's stupidly sharp, plus the handle fits my hand right. Now I peel carrots and zucchini in seconds and actually make stir fries twice a week for under $4 a meal. Anyone else found one kitchen tool that saved them way more than it cost?
