Had to choose between $8 store brand salsa and $14 name brand this week

I picked the cheap one cause money's tight rn and honestly it tasted almost the same, just a little more watery. Has anyone else found a store brand that actually beats the name brand for tacos?

And yeah I've definitely been the watery salsa before, just trying to hold it together and pretend everything's fine lol. Most store brands do the job fine honestly, you just gotta add a little extra salt or lime to fix the texture. For tacos specifically I'd take a slightly sad $8 salsa over a sad bank account any day.

Ugh "a little more watery" is exactly how I'd describe my life right now haha. But honestly the $8 salsa and I are in the same boat - we're both doing our best with what we've got.
