Grocery store lady lectured me on my cart contents
I was at the Aldi on Broad Street last month buying a big bag of rice, some lentils, and a bag of frozen veggies. This older woman walks up and goes "you know those frozen veggies have no nutrition in them, right?" I just looked at her and said "ma'am, this whole cart cost me 12 dollars and feeds me for a week." Why do people feel the need to judge what's in your cart when they don't know your budget?

Held my breath reading that. Twelve bucks for a week of food is wild, I can barely get a lunch for that. People just don't get how different everyone's budget looks from the outside.

Yeah no kidding. Twelve bucks barely covers a coffee these days.
