Finally chose bone-in chicken thighs over boneless breasts after years of lazy shopping
I always grabbed boneless skinless chicken breasts cause they're easy but man they cost like $4 a pound near me in Austin. Last month I picked up a pack of bone-in thighs for $1.79 a pound instead and threw them in a skillet with salt and pepper. Came out way juicier and I actually ate the meat off the bones like a normal person has anyone else made the switch and noticed a huge price difference?

Skin's the best part, just season under it before cooking.

I read that boiling the bones after for broth gives you even more bang for your buck.

It's wild how a small lazy habit like grabbing boneless breasts can cost you way more over time without even thinking about it. Once I started paying attention to unit prices on stuff, I noticed that same pattern in everything from coffee to toilet paper. Makes you wonder what other expensive shortcuts we're all just sleepwalking through.
