My uncle in Dayton kept pushing me to take $40k out for a kitchen remodel, so I did
He swore the new value would cover it since we bought in 2019 and the comps near us jumped. Appraisal came in $19k under what he promised and now we're paying $280 more a month on a kitchen I mostly use to heat up leftovers. Did anyone else get talked into a bigger cash out than they needed?
