Vent: That 'seam roller' trick I learned at the Orlando trade show changed my whole install flow
I was at the Flooring Expo in Orlando last March and watched this old-timer demo how he uses a 3-inch seam roller with extra pressure on the backing before he even lays glue. I always just eyeballed the seams and hoped for the best. Tried it on a 1,200 square foot job last week and zero peaking or lifting on any seam. Has anyone else picked up a weird small technique from a show that ended up making a big difference?

Three-inch roller at 90 degrees instead of 45 is the real game changer.

Ngl I think that trick is just hype. My seams lay flat without all that extra fuss.

Hear me out though - I've had seams that looked flat at first but then poofed up after a wash or two. The trick actually saved me from having to redo a whole project last month. Might be one of those things you don't notice until you need it, you know?
