Vent: stop stretching carpet over tack strip that's already coming loose from the slab
I keep seeing guys knee-kick right over tack strip that's pulling up, and 6 months later the whole room ripples at the seams. Pop the strip, check the concrete, and re-nail with 1 inch concrete nails or it's coming back on you. Anyone else getting callbacks on jobs where the strip was the real problem?
