TIL that cheap gripper strips are a false economy after a 300-yard job in Phoenix last month
I used the bargain brand from a big box store to save $40 and every third strip either snapped on the nail or curled up on me, has anyone else just given up and paid triple for the good stuff?

Man, I gotta push back on this one. I've used the cheap stuff on a bunch of jobs in the desert heat and never had those problems. Maybe you just got a bad batch or the surface wasn't prepped right?
