That curved stairway install in Cleveland ate my whole Thursday
Customer had a spiral stair landing where the pattern had to flow around a 7 foot radius, and my usual notching trick just kept leaving gaps. I burned 5 hours alone on the bullnose and had to rip the last piece three times, finally used a heat gun and a push block setup a buddy showed me back in 2019. By the time the pad was glued and the carpet stretched, the whole job took 11 hours instead of my estimate of 4. Anyone else got a go-to method for curved transitions that doesn't cost a whole day?

Honestly, template wrapping the bullnose in 3 pieces before you glue saves your whole day, I learned that the hard way after a similar Cleveland install.
