Shoutout to the seam tape that failed on me in Phoenix last Tuesday
I was finishing up a 15x20 bedroom install and the heat tape just stopped sticking halfway through. The backing peeled but the adhesive turned into a sticky mess that wouldn't bond. Anyone else have trouble with generic tape in high heat?

Man, that sucks. Did the room get up past 90 before you started? Tbh, I've had that exact same thing happen with the cheap stuff here in Texas. The adhesive just turns into a gooey mess that won't grab anything once the backing is off. Ngl, it's a nightmare when you've already got the fabric laid out and you're fighting it. Hope you got it sorted without too much cussing.

Heard a pro say never to leave the backing on too long before applying it.
