Pulling carpet over a tack strip with a drywall knife saved me an hour on one room
Had a stretched carpet job in a Springfield duplex where the carpet kept slipping off the tack strip right at the doorway, so I ran a flat drywall knife along the strip to set it before kicking it down and it grabbed clean. Anybody else do this or have a better way to keep that corner from popping?
