Noticed something at a job site in Phoenix last week

I was doing a tear-out at an old condo and saw the carpet padding had turned completely orange underneath the seams. The homeowner said they'd had a pet odor treatment done 6 months prior, and it looked like the chemical soaked through and stained the pad. Has anyone else seen that kind of reaction with those enzyme sprays on older padding?
