I finally understood why they say to let carpet acclimate after a job in Phoenix

We rushed a big install in a Scottsdale condo last month and skipped the 24-hour acclimation because the client was pushing. The next day, the seams had pulled apart in three places from the dry air. Now I show them photos from that job if they ask to hurry. Anyone else have a good way to explain this to a customer without sounding like you're stalling?

Photos are the best teacher, right? It's like trying to explain to someone why you don't pour cold water into a hot glass dish. They won't get it until they see the crack. Your photo is that crack. Let the dry air do the talking for you.
