I finally tried the knee kicker trick my old boss in Tulsa showed me, and it saved me on a Berkeley staircase last week
I always thought the trick of using a knee kicker to stretch the last 6 inches into a stair nose was just something my old boss did to save time, so I kept power stretching everything. Last week on a job in Berkeley I was short on time and tried it on 12 steps, and every corner laid flat with zero ripples. Has anyone else had a trick like that sitting in the back of their head for years before they actually used it?

So your old boss was actually right about something, and it only took you a few years to admit it. I bet he'd get a good laugh out of that.
