Hit my first 100 square yard commercial job last Thursday

Been installing carpet for about 3 years now, mostly small bedrooms and stairs. Last week I got a call for a 100 square yard office space in downtown Portland. Spent two full days stretching and trimming, and it came out dead flat. My old boss stopped by and said it looked better than his last job. Has anyone else found that commercial work pays way better per hour than residential?

Went in thinking residential was where the real skill was, but man that commercial job changed my mind. The pace and the payoff were totally different once I got the hang of it.
