Had to pick between a power stretcher and a knee kicker for a tricky hallway job

This old house in Portland had a long, narrow hallway with doors on both sides. I could either try to force a knee kicker into the tight spaces or set up my power stretcher and hope it fit. I went with the power stretcher, even though it took an extra 20 minutes to get it positioned right. The stretch was way more even, and I avoided those little ripples you sometimes get in tight spots. Honestly, it saved me a callback. What's your go-to tool for those awkward, confined areas?

Ripples aren't that big of a deal, @david739.

Always go with the power stretcher in tight halls. That extra setup time beats fixing ripples later. What length of hallway are we talking about?

Remember that time we tried a knee kicker in a narrow space? Ended up with a seam that looked like a roller coaster track.
