Found a trick for dealing with stubborn tack strip corners
I was doing a bedroom install over in Eugene last Tuesday and kept fighting with these tack strips that just would not bend around a tight corner near the closet. After snapping two strips and getting frustrated, I remembered an old guy at the supply house told me to score the back of the strip with a utility knife every inch before bending. Worked like a charm, saved me 20 minutes of messing around. Anyone else got a method for tricky corners like that?

Score the back of the strip every inch" - that takes me back. My dad used to do the same thing with old baseboard trim when I was a kid. Drove me nuts watching him score and snap stuff while I just wanted to hammer it in.
