Vent: Lost a whole day because I used a dull chisel on a door hinge
I spent 6 hours in a client's garage in Portland trying to chisel out a door hinge mortise and it kept splintering until I finally realized my chisel was duller than a butter knife, has anyone else had one tool completely ruin their workflow?

Isn't it weird how one little thing like a dull tool can totally blindside you and ruin your whole momentum for the day? It's like when your phone battery dies right when you need directions, that one overlooked detail just messes everything up.
