My favorite chisel chipped on a Friday job...

I was fitting some new trim in a house off Elm Street last week and my favorite 1 inch chisel just snapped at the tip. It was one of those old Marples I've had for like 15 years. I had to finish the job using a beat up backup from my truck. Has anyone else had a go-to tool break on them in the middle of a project? How do you get past the frustration?

My dad gave me that same Marples chisel when I was starting out. It broke right at the pivot point on a tough piece of oak. I was SO mad I threw it across the garage. Still hurts to think about it.
