Just figured out how to stop my miter saw from blowing dust everywhere

I was cutting baseboards and the dust was getting all over my shop. I hooked up a shop vac to the dust port on the saw, and it really helped keep things clean. What do you guys do to manage sawdust on job sites?

Man, I used to just let the dust fly and clean up later. Figured it was part of the job. But after seeing how much fine powder settles on tools and even gets tracked into the house, I had to change my tune. Hooking a vac right to the saw like you did makes a huge difference. It's not perfect, but my lungs and my cleanup time are way happier now.
