I thought those magnetic wristbands for holding screws were just a gimmick.
My buddy gave me one as a joke when I was building a deck last spring. I put it on to be nice, and after about an hour of not dropping a single screw into the grass, I was sold. It held a Phillips head, a dozen deck screws, and a pencil without any fuss. Has anyone else tried these and found them actually useful for certain jobs?

They're a lifesaver for any job where you're working above your head or on a ladder.

Man, you're speaking my language. Nothing worse than climbing down a ladder just for one little screw you forgot.

Yeah, @taylor.paige is right about overhead work. I keep one on my tool belt now for running electrical boxes. Saves a ton of time not climbing up and down just to grab another screw.
