I keep hearing everyone swear by Festool track saws but the math doesnt add up for me

I was looking at the Festool TS 55 and it's like $650 before blades or rails. Then I found out the Wen track saw that costs $150 gives almost identical cut quality on plywood when I tested both at a buddy's shop last Tuesday. People act like spending 4x more makes them better carpenters but I've got a clean straight cut every time with my ridgid and a homemade rail guide. Anybody else think the hype is way overblown?

Brought my Wen camping once and used it to cut firewood, worked great until I hit a rock.

Man that EXACT same thing happened to me @ericgonzalez. I was all proud of how much wood I was cutting through and then BAM hit a hidden rock under some leaves.
