Hit 1000 board feet on a single job and it made me check my dust collection setup big time

Ngl I just finished a deck rebuild in Columbus and used over 1000 board feet of cedar. The sawdust pile was insane and my shop vac filter was totally clogged after day two. Anyone else ever calculate how much waste you're really breathing in on a big project?

Wow, that dust pile really adds up fast. It's wild how we can track board feet for lumber but never think about all the fine dust that goes airborne. I notice this pattern in a lot of tradespeople I know where they focus on the big visible stuff but ignore the hidden health risks. A good reminder to check your filters more often than you think you need to.
