The mock interview at my old high school in Lansing exposed a gap I didn't know I had
I sat in on a mock interview night at my old high school in Lansing back in March, mostly to help out, and watched a kid freeze when the interviewer asked him to explain a group project he'd listed on his resume. He knew the project cold but couldn't say what HE did on it versus the team, and the interviewer kept pushing on that one point for 4 minutes. It hit me that I'd been writing my own bullets the same vague way, stuff like "helped with the rollout" with no numbers or role. I went home and rewrote every line on my resume that night with a task and a result on each one. Curious if others have sat in on mock interviews and picked up something like that about their own prep.
