I finally stopped listing my hobbies on resumes

I used to add 'camping and reading' at the bottom of every resume, figured it made me look rounded. Then a recruiter in Austin told me flat out that recruiters spend about 7 seconds on a first pass and those lines just waste it. Now I use that space to add one measurable win, like 'cut onboarding time by 2 weeks.' Has anyone else ditched the personal interest section for better results in interviews?
