Went to that fancy career fair downtown and left more confused than when I walked in
Got a lead on a career fair at the convention center last Tuesday. Paid $15 for parking and stood in line for 20 minutes just to get through the door. Every booth was either pushing some vague "entry level" role that needed 3 years experience or trying to sell me on their certification program. Talked to one guy from a tech company who couldn't even tell me what the job actually involved day to day. Has anyone else had luck at those things or is it all just a big waste of time?
