The regional manager who made me question my own pay rate after one shift with her

I was cleaning houses solo for 2 years and set my own prices around $35 an hour. Then I did a temp gig for a corporate cleaning outfit in Phoenix last month and watched their regional manager quote a 3 bedroom place at $180. She told me I was leaving money on the table because I priced by time, not by value, and that clients pay for results, not my hours. Half my jobs take 4 hours, so if I charged a flat rate like she did, that's $45 an hour on my end. But I worry about scaring off repeat customers if my quote feels too high. Does anyone else struggle with flat fee vs. hourly in service work, or is it just me?
