Pro tip: That "dream job" you applied for might not be what you think
I put in for a supervisor position at the post office about 6 months ago. Spent weeks on the application, got a interview, did the whole song and dance. Ended up getting the job and was excited for like a week. Turns out all that extra money came with way more stress and paperwork than I expected. I was dealing with angry customers and routing complaints instead of just walking my route like normal. Quit after 3 months and went back to carrying mail. My takeaway is that more money doesnt always mean a better gig, especially when you lose the parts of the job you actually liked. Has anyone else moved up and regretted it right away?

I mean, is a little stress really that big a deal?

Doesn't a little stress turn into a lot of stress if you ignore it long enough? I once thought a "little" credit card debt was fine until I realized I was paying for groceries with guilt. Now my normal is just trying to convince my heart to stop racing because I saw a work email after 5 PM.
