My manager promised me a $4k raise in March and I just saw the budget line for it got moved to 'team lunches'
I sat in her office back in March when she said the raise was approved and coming through in the next cycle, then last Thursday I pulled up the shared budget sheet by accident and saw my line item crossed out with a note that said 'reallocated to Q3 morale events,' so now I'm updating my resume during lunch breaks and wondering if anyone else has caught their boss doing this kind of shell game with their pay.
