Hit 50 job applications this week and it got me thinking about my approach

I've been applying for project coordinator roles since January and just crossed 50 applications today. That number surprised me because I thought I'd have at least a few interviews by now but only got two callbacks total. Should I be focusing on quality over quantity or is this just normal in this market?

50 applications with only two callbacks is pretty normal right now, but you might be spraying your resume everywhere instead of tailoring it for jobs you actually fit.

@evan295 okay but be real with me for a second. how do you even know if a job is actually a good fit when the job description is just a wish list written by someone's HR cousin who doesn't understand the actual role? like half the time the requirements sound like they copy pasted from three different positions. are people actually getting callbacks from tailoring or is it just luck at this point
