Shoutout to the REI employee in Denver who watched me try to light my Jetboil with wet matches for 20 minutes
Turns out I'd been packing my matches in the same stuff sack as my wet camp towel for 2 seasons, and now I keep them in a ziplock with a little desiccant packet, so has anyone else had a gear fail that was really just their own packing mistake?

Wet towel in the same sack was your real problem, not the matches.
