PSA: Don't buy that cheap $15 camp stove from the big box store

Spent $15 on a gas camp stove that sputtered out after 3 uses and almost ruined dinner for 4 people on a rainy trip last fall, anyone have a decent one under $40 that actually works?

My $20 Coleman from the grocery store has held up for 3 seasons now with maybe 30 trips on it. The trick is to run some gas cleaner through it after each trip to keep the jets clear. Your mileage may vary but cheap stoves can work fine if you treat them right.

Man, I gotta disagree with you there. 30 trips in 3 seasons on a $20 stove sounds like luck more than some secret trick. Running gas cleaner through it every time is more maintenance than most people want to bother with. And if you forget once or the weather gets bad, those cheap jets clog up fast. A mid range stove for like $60 just works without all the fuss.
