Hit 50 nights in a hammock this year and my back has never been better

I switched to a hammock setup back in March. Told myself I'd try it for real camping, not just afternoon naps. Hit 50 nights last weekend up in the Blue Ridge. My tent friends keep saying it's a gimmick but I wake up with zero stiffness now. Anyone else ditch the ground for a full season?

seriously slept on is how a hammock changes your sleep temp in the summer. the air flow under you keeps you cool all night. last august when it was still 80 at midnight, my buddies were tossing and turning on the ground and i was perfectly fine with just a light blanket. plus hanging from trees means zero rocks or roots poking you in the ribs.

Yeah @derek_ramirez nailed it, the airflow under you is a game changer. I switched to a hammock last summer and it saved me during a heatwave in July when we were camping in Florida.
