Appreciation post: the guy at Glacier National Park who saved my tent in 30 seconds flat

My rainfly ripped open at 2am during a storm at Many Glacier Campground and a random camper from the next site over showed up with a roll of Tenacious Tape and patched it up right there in the dark, has anyone else had a stranger bail them out with gear repairs on a trip?

Fair point @noah_chen17, but that guy changed my mind on just carrying tape.

Hold up though, Tenacious Tape is good but you really should carry a proper repair kit with silicone seam sealer for rainflies, that stuff lasts way longer in wet weather.
