Watched a fungus-eaten Yashica Mat come back from the dead over 3 months
A customer brought in a Mat with fungus so bad on the taking lens that images looked like they were shot through wax paper, and after I split the elements, soaked them in peroxide and ammonia for a few days, and reassembled, the contrast difference on the same test roll was night and day. Has anyone else found peroxide mix ratios that clear it faster without eating the coating?
