Update on that $150 digital microscope I bought for SMD work
It saved me about two hours on a Canon mirrorless board repair last week. Anyone have a better option under $300?

Your buddy's board actually got fried from that cheap unit? That sucks, honestly. I've seen a few people try to save money on budget power supplies and end up replacing whole rigs later. It's one of those things where you think you're saving cash upfront but it bites you down the road. Hope he can get it sorted without too much hassle.
