That Tuesday in March when four SLRs with the same shutter fault landed on my bench
I had a weird run last week where three Canon AE-1 bodies came in on the same day, all with the classic squeal and slow mirror return, plus a Pentax that a customer from Tacoma shipped in with a stuck advance lever. Turns out a local photo class at the community college all bought used gear off the same auction lot, so I spent two solid days pulling mirror boxes and re-lubing the same spot over and over. Has anyone else noticed a batch of identical repairs coming through like that, and do you charge a flat rate when it's clearly the same job?
