That collector who watched me work for 20 minutes before saying a word

Last Saturday a retired guy in a fedora stood silently over my bench while I rebuilt a stuck Compur shutter on a 1950s Agfa, then he pointed at the escapement and just said 'you know the prior repairer filed the pallet stones, right,' and after I checked he was 100% correct, so has anyone else had a customer spot something you missed in seconds?

That fedora probably does that to every repair guy he meets, honestly.
