Local camera shop in Portland had a whole shelf of dead Minolta X-700s

Stopped by Blue Moon Camera last week to grab some parts and noticed they'd stacked up 7 or 8 X-700 bodies, all with the same capacitor issue. The guy behind the counter said they get at least one a month now. It hit me that I've been replacing those little SMD caps for over a decade and the supply of cheap donor bodies is finally drying up. I used to grab them for $15 at garage sales, now folks want $60 for a broken one. Anyone else seeing fewer of these coming in for repair, or is it just my corner of the Pacific Northwest?
