I finally gave up on a stripped Yashica screw and drilled it out, then spent 2 hours hunting a replacement
I was at my bench in Des Moines last Saturday when the M2 screw on a Yashica GSN top plate rounded out on the third turn, and after an hour of heat, PB Blaster, and a rubber band I just drilled the head off. Now I'm digging through every jar of spare screws I've hoarded since the 90s, so what do you all do when you trash an odd size screw in the middle of a job?
