Had a day last week where everything went right for once
Three cameras came in on Monday that all looked like they were going to be nightmares. One was a Nikon F2 with a stuck mirror, the other two were old rangefinders with light leaks. By Friday afternoon I had all three fixed and working. Usually I'm lucky to finish one tricky job in a week, so that felt like a big win. Anyone else ever have a week where the repairs just fell into place?

Had a streak like that with three Olympus OMs last spring. Two had sticky shutters and one had a slow speed issue on the 1/15 setting. Cleaned the old grease out of the shutter mechanisms with some naptha and lubed them back up. All three were running smooth by the end of one long Saturday. Sometimes you just get lucky and everything clicks.

@ericgonzalez sounds like you had a great weekend with those OMs. I remember once I had a box of old Yashicas come in from an estate sale, like five of them. Three had stuck lenses from old sticky lubricant and I spent a whole Sunday with a hair dryer and lighter fluid just working the helicoids back and forth. By Monday evening four of them were clicking away and I felt like a wizard or something. It's that feeling when the universe just decides to cooperate for once.
