A guy in Denver told me my shutter timing was off, and he could hear it from across the room
I brought a Canon AE-1 into a shop on South Broadway in Denver last week and before I even set it on the counter, the owner glanced up and said your second curtain is dragging, I can hear it. He was right, the 1/60 setting was firing about 15 percent slow on my tester. I had messed with the curtain tension myself and made it worse instead of better. Should I just hand this off to him, or is there a simple way to get the curtain travel even again without pulling the whole mirror box apart?
