Warning: my SDI disability payments got held up because of a missing doctor's signature on page 4
Applied for California SDI back in March after my back gave out cleaning a house in Santa Rosa. Waited 5 weeks, called EDD, they said the doctor's office never filled out page 4 of the claim form. I thought the doctor submitted everything electronically. Had to call my doctor's office 3 times before they fixed it. Got the payment another 2 weeks later. Anyone else have this page 4 issue?

Calm down, it's just a signature mixup - happens all the time.

A whole 5 weeks just to find out someone didn't sign page 4? That's not a "simple mixup" when you're stuck with no income and your landlord is calling. I had a similar runaround with my own disability claim back in 2021, the doctor's office blamed EDD, EDD blamed the doctor. Took me 8 weeks total to get a payment because of a missing checkbox on some form nobody tells you about. People acting like this is no big deal probably never had to choose between buying groceries and paying a bill while waiting on that money.
