Hit 500 hours on my service dog tracker, weirdly proud

I checked my app today and realized my service dog and I have logged 500 hours of public access work since we started in March. That includes grocery runs, doctor visits, and three trips to the DMV office in Sacramento. Honestly I never thought I'd make it this far, the first month I almost quit twice because I felt so awkward with people staring. But now the numbers feel real, like proof that all the training and patience actually added up. Has anyone else tracked their hours or milestones with their service animal? It helps me see progress when the bad days hit.

...and honestly I used to think tracking stuff like this was kind of silly. Like, you either do the work or you don't, who needs a number to prove it. But that DMV bit? That's the real test. I've seen people tap out after one trip there, let alone three. Seeing it all laid out like that does something to your brain, makes the hard days feel less like failures and more like just part of the count. Now I kinda get why people keep logs for everything, it's not for anyone else, it's for you when you doubt yourself.
