Blew $200 on a disability lawyer consult in Fresno and got one line of real advice
Spent 200 bucks for a 30 minute phone call with a Fresno disability attorney about my SSDI denial, and the only useful thing he said was to file the appeal within 60 days instead of waiting, which I could have read for free on the SSA site, so has anyone actually found a lawyer consult worth the money out here?

That "file the appeal within 60 days" line is exactly the kind of thing that makes you feel dumb for paying, and we've all been there with some expert or another. Reminds me of when I paid a plumber 150 bucks just to tell me my water heater was off, then he flipped the switch and left. Some consults are worth it and some are just a guy reading the obvious off a page while your wallet gets lighter.
