Thought the Nickelodeon splat logo was just a fun design until my little cousin asked why the orange was dripping
I spent most of 1994 convinced that orange splat was just a random shape they slapped on the corner during commercials, and I even argued about it at lunch. My cousin pointed out it looked like someone dropped a paint balloon on the screen, and then it hit me that was literally the whole point. Did anyone else take way too long to get obvious channel branding like that?
