I used to record TV shows on VHS tapes like a maniac lol

Back in the early 2000s, I'd set my VCR to record Cartoon Network every night because I always missed stuff after school. Now I just use YouTube TV's library feature and it saves everything automatically without me touching a thing. The game changer was when I realized I could skip commercials on DVR recordings, which took a 30 minute show down to 22 minutes easy. Has anyone else found a way to watch old 90s commercials online or am I stuck with YouTube rabbit holes?

Bro that takes me back. I used to do the exact same thing with Toonami blocks because I had football practice until 6 every day. The worst was when the tape would run out halfway through Dragon Ball Z and you'd miss the whole fight. As for old commercials, there's this channel on YouTube called "Commercials from the 90s" that uploads full blocks of them straight from old tapes. Total time warp.
