Found a tape from 1993 with 6 straight hours of USA Network and I have questions
Popped it in last week and it's just endless reruns, a Silk Stalkings marathon, and a commercial for a 900 number that I can't believe my parents let me near the remote. Did anyone else's family just leave the TV on whatever channel survived the scroll, because I think that explains a whole chunk of my childhood.

There was a piece I read about how people used to just park on one channel because the remote was across the room or the cable box took forever to change. Stuck with whatever was on, so you ended up watching stuff you'd never pick on purpose. Six hours of Silk Stalkings is proof of that. My brother still knows every USA show intro by heart because of it.
