Worst day I ever had on the job was a Tuesday in July
Tbh I still think about that Tuesday in July 2019 when I was running lines through an old church building in Akron. Three different drops failed because of ancient conduit full of rocks and bad bends. I was out there from 7am till 8pm sweating buckets and the customer kept asking if I was done yet. Has anyone else dealt with old buildings where the conduit is basically a nightmare?

Old buildings are the absolute worst for this, especially anything pre-1960s where they used rigid metal conduit that's basically rusted solid inside. Best trick I've picked up is to run a strong fish tape with a blower attachment first to clear out debris, saves hours of fighting with stuck cables. Also, swapping over to flexible PVC coated cable for the final pull can get through those tight bends that break a regular wire jacket. For those customer breathing down your neck moments, just tell them straight up "old buildings fight back, this takes time" - usually shuts them up for a bit.

Flex PVC isn't code compliant for that use case actually.
