Three hours wasted on a bad termination in Phoenix yesterday

I spent all afternoon yesterday tracing a dead drop in a new build near downtown Phoenix. Turned out the compression fitting on the RG6 was just a hair loose and it took out the whole signal. Anyone else ever spend way too long on something that simple?

Heard a buddy spent two hours on a loose coax screw once too.

Makes you wonder how many marriages have ended over a loose coax screw. My record's a solid 45 minutes before I realized I was tightening the wrong cable entirely. Had the wrench out, everything. Spouse just stood there with the remote, watching me fight a losing battle with a wall plate. Nothing beats that sinking feeling when you finally give up and the connection's been fine the whole time.
